- This channel made 7 Grand Dad famous.
- Epic Flintstones Explanation Former contributor Triple-Q began commenting this on any video where the only joke was the Flintstones theme and it caught on with the fans. The phrase gets thrown around occasionally, usually on one-joke videos.
- "I only upload high quality video game rips." Explanation SiIva's go-to response to commenters who imply otherwise.
- "Please read the channel description." Explanation Most every video description ends with this (as a way of fending off accusations of plagiarism from SoundCloud).
- High quality rips. Explanation The phrase "high quality" has come to refer to any song made in SiIva's style.
- #HighQualityVideoGameRIP Explanation This got tossed around a lot when the original channel was terminated, later making a resurgence when the team retired.
- The channel is ending. Explanation There was much confusion surrounding the channel's original proposed ending. Rips leading up to it started to become higher quality and were frequently from ending/credits themes. Of course, regular uploads eventually resumed, so this joke is often made in the comment section of any rips containing words like "final" or "ending" to allude to the situation.
- TODOKETE Explanation The opening word to the chorus of Snow Halation, frequently commented on rips that it's featured in.
- Sens. Explanation A reference to an infamous Game Theory video that claimed that Sans was actually Ness (in spite of considerable evidence against it) has led to a few ironic references in the channel's rips (most notably "Song That Might Play When You Fight Sans", which is always a MOTHER-related Smash Bros. song). Referring to either character as "Sens" took off with fans, likely an allusion to Matthew Patrick's rather bizarre observation that "Sans" and "Ness" are only one letter away from being anagrams of each other.
- "GAME THEORY: X is Y?!/Why I gave the Pope X". Explanation Some more references to MatPat's Undertale videos; these tend to crop up whenever an Undertale melody appears in a non-Undertale rip (X and Y being characters/items/games pertinent to the rip).
- Koriball. Explanation An intentionally terrible mashup of the themes from Cory in the House and Space Jam that was privatized; it quickly ascended to legend amongst the fanbase and was eventually followed up in two bizarre livestreams.
- I have a request. Explanation The infamous "Koriball 2" stream saw many chat members say this without any provocation or clarification (presumably spurred by SiIva himself starting the act), which continued into the regular rips that followed (to the point where many label it a Discredited Meme).
- 5 nights of snop dog Explanation The usual reply to the above, a reference to the "snop dog" Twitter account. Became an Ascended Meme after this rip was released.
- CG! Coconut Gun! Explanation The Unused Version of "The DK Rap" became popular amongst the fandom almost immediately after it was released, due to its redundant style of humor, and the inherent funniness of "Coconut Gun" and "fire in spurts". Elements of the rip have since been used as Running Gags in the channel itself due to its popularity amongst fans, making it an Ascended Meme of sorts.
- нет. Explanation A reference to the infamous incident in which clicking an annotation with this label (Russian for "no") on a Kirby: Planet Robobot rip led to a shock video of a harlequin baby.
- [game the rip comes from] funny moments Explanation A reference to the "Family Guy funny moments" meme, which itself is inspired by Youtube compilation videos with similar naming schemes
- LORE Explanation A reference to the surprisingly involved storyline of the Reboot. The word itself spawned from the unofficial SiIvaGunner Discord server that was active during the reboot. Twinkie Pie, who was a moderator on the server, became associated with the term as well due to him constantly referencing it.
- Even the way Siiva titles his videos is memetic - searching for certain songs on YouTube prompts the suggestions to include "[Song name] - [Game name]", just like his videos.
- IT'S. THE. NUTSHACK. Explanation The theme song of the infamously bad The Nutshack cartoon was introduced as a new Running Gag after the events of the High Quality Reboot. The song is obnoxiously repetitive (Its lyrics primarily consist of "It's the Nutshack", which is Punctuated! For! Emphasis!), and it quickly caught on amongst the fandom.
- TITO DICK, DICKMAN, BABY! Explanation Sometime after the end of the reboot, the face of Tito Dick, one of the main characters of The Nutshack, appeared on the channel banner. Since then, he's gotten clearer and started to obscure the other memes. Whenever there's a Nutshack rip, this is the most common Nutshack related comment that isn't a variant of the above meme, coming from a line in the rap that shows up in the middle of the Nutshack theme.
- "I have crippling depression." Explanation This phrase and many variations thereof have become frequent Running Gags amongst the fandom in the YouTube comments section. While the origin is from an iDubbbzTV video, its become so prominent within the comments section that people began to label it as a Discredited Meme not long after it rose in popularity.
- Is it safe? Explanation Following the Puzzle Room incident, many people were concerned that subsequent rips contained similar shock content; thus, they took to asking this question in the comments. Died out after the team broke character to apologize, but occasionally resurfaces whenever a rip related to the original song shows up.
- Is there bean? Explanation The equivalent to the above for Green de la Bean, who is appropriately viewed as pure Paranoia Fuel. Some users in the comments sections of each video have dedicated themselves to warning people about any Bean appearances, should it be in a video. Even after it stopped appearing, people still continue to "check" for it, just in case.
- BITCH YOU explanation The beginning of Green de la Bean's Sensory Abuse-laden "theme". In addition to its actual appearances, it showed up as a fake-out in a couple of rips.
- We got beaned by the man himself. Explanation Mr. Bean was revealed to be a contestant in King For Another Day, and due to his name having the word "bean", he was seen as some sort of second coming of the Bean.
- Double beaned! Explanation Said reveal was revealed to be a fake, so viewers were said to be "double beaned" by Mr. Bean.
- 4 HOURS Explanation An Angry Joe quote that was already memetic; the channel's tendency to ironically reference his material only increased its spread.
- HEHEHE I AM A SUPAHSTAR WARRIA Explanation A line from the Kirby anime episode "Cartoon Buffon" said by a very badly drawn Dedede, which a particularly infamous commenter has used as an username coupled with an avatar of said Dedede. This has led to a number of imitators, who also use an username and avatar of similar style, but referencing other characters instead.
- "I... I couldn't help but come across your comments and page[...]" Explanation Frequent contributor MtH posted a lengthy comment (only partially quoted here) to the comments of this rip (a 9/11 joke in its entirety). It very quickly became something of a copypasta.
- nice Explanation After SiIva fell asleep, Wood Man took over his channel for a time. He adopted this as his Catchphrase.
- >:] Explanation Wood Man's face is usually drawn as this expression.
- Is this a JoJoke? Explanation Around the time of the Christmas special, commenters began to frequently mock overzealous JoJo fans who see everything as a reference to the series by employing Insane Troll Logic to do the same ironically.
- L.A.M.A.J vs ERIOIOIRE Explanation In one stream, SiIva mirrored the cover boxart of L.A. Noire and treated them as separate entities, with L.A.M.A.J as the left-mirrored one and ERIOIOIRE as the right mirrored one. Even SiIva uploaded the 'main themes' for them. After the stream, fans have debated which one is better; L.A.M.A.J or ERIOIORE.
- hot one Explanation Ever since Siiva added "Smooth" by Santana to his roster of running gags, fans have been referencing the opening lyrics of the song ("Man, it's a hot one.") whenever a Smooth-related rip is posted.
- AMUNO Explanation AMUNO is a French YouTuber who makes Sensory Abuse and Stylistic Suck-laden videos who have appeared in several rips as of late. And due to his nature, combined with Bait-and-Switch, he has gained a divisive reputation in the community.
- "LOL with all that reverb and also it being KH, I know exactly who made this one. Good stuff my dude." Explanation A copypasta that began to spring up in the comment section of rips pertaining to Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. No one is sure how it became so popular, or where it came from.
- "Oh, Minecrap! I cannot wait to play Minecrap. Do you know what my favorite thing to do is in Minecrap? I love building bricks with Minecrap. Building bricks with Minecrap is the best thing and the most amount of fun you can have while playing an app. I understand why all the kids are playing this game these days — it's because they like to build brown bricks with Minecrap. I also like to build brown bricks with Minecrap. It's the most fun you can possibly have. What is the point of Minecrap?" Explanation In May of 2017, the channel got taken over by Inspector Gadget, of all possible people, based on an old video from Mike Matei, Minecraft With Gadget, where Inspector Gadget complains about "Minecrap." Mike actually wasn't happy with it, and would put copyright strikes on reuploads, before the takeover renewed interest in it and led him to talk about it for the first time in several years.
- VvvvvaVvvvvvr Explanation A SiIvaGunner clone who takes the shitposting formula of the channel Up to Eleven. In June 2017, a few of his memes (Here Comes Pac-Man/Pac-Man Smoking Crack and Rock My Forum) started being referenced in a couple of SiIva's rips.
- recordcollector1972 Explanation recordcollector1972 is a SiIvaGunner clone formerly known as Music - Topic, though unlike SiIva this one parodies popular music and, before its relaunch, posed as one of the channels that auto-generates uploads of songs. SiIva may have referenced them in this form in at least one rip, specifically Super Mario Sunshine's A Secret Course (IT Version).
- Chicken and chips Explanation To kick off the first anniversary of the Reboot, an alternate universe of Chad Warden seized control of the channel and uploaded an array of rips containing nothing but Lego Pornstar's "Abe's Dead" (a.k.a. the Chicken and Chips song) as the Running Gag.
- "Who the fuck owns the channel anymore?" Explanation The fact that the channel switch hosts a lot (starting from SiIva, and then Wood Man, and then the Voice, and then Gadget, and then Haltmann, and then an alternate universe Chad Warden, and then Wood Man again, and then Santana) elicited this reaction from fans.
- Jerry Temporary Explanation An Accidental Misnaming of "Temporary Secretary" by Paul McCartney that originated from the comment section after the original song was used in this rip. The comment section soon began saying that any obscure joke was "Jerry Temporary", á la "Darude - Sandstorm". Following this, "Temporary Secretary" began seeing more usage in rips, almost always referred to as "Jerry Temporary".
- Wii Shop Bling Explantion A popular mashup of the Wii Shop Channel theme and "Hotline Bling" by major SiIvaGunner team member toonlink. After the mashup got taken down, people began asking toonlink to reupload it (and he has not, presumbly due to it being an Old Shame), which the other team members soon began doing ironically. The joke eventually spread to the channel, with any rip involving the Wii Shop Channel or "Hotline Bling" causing a fan or team member to ask where "Wii Shop Bling" is.
- "touhou album when" Explanation SiIvaGunner has uploaded a lot of Touhou rips, yet he hasn't complied all of them into a single album unlike most of the albums dedicated to a single game (7 SOMARI DAD, 0 GRAND PRIX, etc), thus electing this reaction from the fans (who might be fans of Touhou as well) on every Touhou-related rip uploaded. Upon the release of Somewhat Responsive to Requests, a proper Touhou Project-dedicated album in 2020, this has become a Discredited Meme ever since.
- Totino's! Totino's! How did you know? Explanation Furthering the reaction to Totino's unavoidable presence in the infamous Sonic 25th Anniversary Stream, nearly every Sonic Mania rip will contain Tim and Eric's Totino's song for at least part of it. It's so omnipresent in those rips that "How did you know?" is a common response to people asking if it's Totino's. Parodied in this video which also parodies another Tim and Eric meme ("Name 10 things that aren't X").
- Gadunk Explanation A common onomatopoeia for Haunted House rips.
- Deez Nuts Fusion Collab Explanation Several fans like to make predictions about future uploads. One of the sillier predictions is a fusion collab based off of Deez Nuts. This is likely inspired by the intentionally bad "7 Grand Dad Fusion Collab".
- 2 Explanation A number used to refer to sequels. 2 was first used memetically in Undertale 2's rips and went on to be a popular joke within the fandom. On February 2, 2018 (2/2), several rips with 2 in the title were uploaded, including this one. Around that time, contributor Twonko uploaded a variety of videos containing the number 2 being said in various forms of media.
- Rock my Forum Explanation A YTPMV created by contributor Xarlable which has since been taken down due to copyright, which took "Rock My Emotions" from the album Kitsune and added in Ray William Johnson noises, specifically the word "forum". This has been used in a few rips and is a major meme on the VvvvvaVvvvvvr fan channel.
- "What's happenin, forum?" Explanation RWJ's catchphrase.
- Mr. Rental/Own Explanation The mascot of an Australian rental service. On the channel, he is depicted as a violent and lunatic individual that often murders those who aren't against mashups.
- Ban all Mashups! Explanation Mr. Rental's catchphrase.
- #UnregisteredHYPErcam2 Explanation Unregistered Hypercam 2 was quite the Ensemble Dark Horse among fans in the SiIvaGunner King for a Day tournament. The hashtag was used to show support towards him up until, and shortly after, he won the tournament.
- The true final boss of Octo Expansion. Explanation(spoilers!) The avatar of the channel greatly resembles the NILS Statue from the aforementioned Splatoon 2 DLC. Cue the jokes about it. Additionally, Off the Hook was able to make it to the final matchup of the King for a Day tournament.
- The joke is that... Explanation People in the comments section sometimes tell others the rip's "joke", which is almost always not the joke in the rip, but a reference to the source of the rip's joke. For example, a rip featuring Mother 3 could have a comment of "The joke is that Mother 3 is not yet released in America."
- Welcome to the "I Don't Get The Joke" Club! Explanation When people don't recognize a song or two in his videos, expect this kind of response in the comments.
- haha hehe funny mixer Explanation The inclusion of, of all things, a literal HOBaRT industrial mixer as a contestant for KFAD2 was mostly met with total confusion, with some deriding him as only being included because "haha hehe funny mixer." After shooting to Ensemble Dark Horse status, these comments immediately became a way of giving praise to "funny mixer." Of course, SiIva being SiIva, this quickly became an Ascended Meme with "Theme of HOBaRT."
- Here come the TerminalMontage viewers... Explanation Something About usually uses high quality rips of the game it's parodying. Therefore, when a rip is used in a video, people come flocking to the original rip to quote the episode. Fans have seen this cyclical course of events many a time and preemptively mock the people introduced to the rip by the episode.
- Ah yes, my favorite moment of (X) was when... Explanation A frequent comment format on rips that have particularly well-known jokes, in which the commentator will make up a fake scenario that combines elements from both the original game being ripped and the work that the joke originates from, and comically state that this was their favorite moment from the original game.
- Whenever there's a rip related to Omori, people almost always comment some variation of "OMORI rips are highly appreciated."
